Since Blackfoot has mandated new rules, bolt action shooters are now averaging 400-600 rounds a day.
- All Day Hunt - Hunt is 7am to 7pm
- We Provide Hotel pickup, shaded swivel benches, rests, bags, lunch, drinks, spotting and barrel coolers
- Best Months: April - July
- Average 300 Rounds Per Person Per Day
- We cater to the novice Prairie dog shooter and children too!!
- $250 per person (2 or 3 hunters only)
- No AR-15's, AR-10's or any other semi-auto rifle
- No Rimfire or full metal Jacket Ammo Allowed
Prairie dog tips for the Novice!!
- Bring the shells you sighted your gun in with
- Bring gun cleaning supplies
- With the price of shells, cleaning after every 50 rounds is encouraged
- Bring at least two guns in case of some kind of failure or malfunction
- Bring a minimum of 300 rounds per person per day
- Try to have your gun sighted in “dead on” at 200 yards.
We are members of the Varmint Hunters Association and can certify you in the 500 and 1000 yard club. We have exclusivity to a 25 square mile West Texas ranch that has 11 square miles of dogs. It is a 20 minute drive from our hotels.
